Nutrition Grown Biophoton Salad –SO Amazing For Your Health

Here’s a Nutrition Grown salad from the garden of Perfect Soil course student, Jennifer Wilson. Jenny wrote, “I am so excited about the nutritionally grown salads I have been able to make from my garden. They are beautiful and I feel energized after eating them.”

Groundbreaking Study:

Beyond the many nutrients raw greens supply to our bodies, a groundbreaking study in the Journal of Cell Science shows that the chlorophyll in greens can be used by mammalian cells to capture light energy from the sun.  In the past, it was thought that this was something only plants could do through the process of photosynthesis.

This article, Light-harvesting chlorophyll pigments enable mammalian mitochondria to capture photonic energy and produce ATP, comes from researchers at the Columbia University Medical Center.  Numerous experiments have been performed showing that chlorophyll metabolites “retain the ability to absorb light in the visible spectrum at wavelengths that can penetrate into animal tissues”.  Mammalian mitochondria utilize this light energy to create ATP (adenosine triphosphate). The researchers have also observed an increase in the lifespan of animals who are generating ATP in this way.

Is it any wonder that we enjoy sunning ourselves?  Have you ever seen animals laying stretched out in the sun and wondered why they were doing that, even when it seemed too hot?  Maybe we are now catching up with the “why”.

Think about a dog or a cat eating grass, especially when they don’t feel well.  They instinctively know the fresh greens can help them.

Biophotons:

Dr. Fritz-Albert Popp, a German biophysics researcher, has been studying biophotons for decades.  Biophotons are light energy emitted from living things.  Dr. Popp’s research has shown that light is emitted from human cells and that this light is used for communication.  Light energy communication is many times faster than chemical reactions, which have been central to the theory of biochemical cellular communications.  It has also been seen that light energy (photons) are necessary to initiate chemical reactions.

“There are about 100,000 chemical reactions happening in every cell each second. The chemical reaction can only happen if the molecule which is reacting is excited by a photon… Once the photon has excited a reaction it returns to the field and is available for more reactions… We are swimming in an ocean of light.”

Raw Foods:

Raw food diets can be powerfully healing.  Why?  Besides many nutrients and phytonutrients, plants also contain biophotons.  Studies show that when a plant or animal dies, light energy is released.  As opposed to cooked foods, eating well grown raw foods, with their undamaged molecules and coherent light energy, can be especially healing.

Dr. Popp came to understand that DNA was the major source of light and biophoton emissions within our cells.  Furthermore, he found that DNA can send out many different frequencies which are instructions for our cells to follow.  This is how our bodies heal.

And Beyond:

The photon emissions go beyond our bodies to influence other beings.  For examples, communications within flocks of birds, schools of fish, and herds of horses may be explained by photon emissions.  As humans, perhaps our resonance, or lack thereof, with each other can also be explained by the coherency of our photon emissions.

So grow your Nutrition Grown™ garden, eat your absolutely fresh greens, and let your Light SHINE.

Results from our Nutrition Grown Research and Demonstration Garden– Now in its 2nd Year

We were blessed with grant funding this spring for starting the 2nd year of our Nutrition Grown Research and Demonstration Garden.  Our first order of business was to thoroughly re-analyze the soil.  Then we added our fertilizers and amendments.  We repeat this procedure every 6 months to gradually bring our soil to optimal levels of fertility.  Because we have to feed the soil slowly over time to avoid harming the beneficial microbes, it can take years to optimize the soil, but all the effort is worth it!  Balanced, healthy soil (with all its beneficial microbes) is what makes healthy plants, and (subsequently) happy, healthy people!

Numerous researchers are coming to the conclusion that human health really does begin in the soil.  The microbial life in the soil AND ON THE PLANTS can be related to our own  microflora, which is mainly in our intestinal tract, but also on our skin, and even in our organs.  A healthy variety of microorganisms performs a myriad of functions. Some microbes make amino acids, some make vitamins.  Other microbes make nutrients more available and some are even involved in cell signaling, which can control genetic expression.

Each food plant has its own set of compatible microbes.  Interacting with food plants in the raw state, with their live beneficial microbes, can be very important for our health.  Food is information.  This is part of the reason why raw food diets can be so healing.  We evolved with the plants.  We need to have our daily dose of Nature–touching, smelling, eating.  Having your own healing Nutrition Grown garden with a variety of herbs, vegetables and fruits can be the quickest route to great health.  It’s Nature’s “farmacy”!

The First of This Year’s Nutrition Grown Garden Results

Yes, we did get some crops planted in our garden, and got them grown up enough to take plant tissue samples.  Then I compared the results on our green onions to the USDA Food Nutrient Database. We saw increases on all but one measured nutrient (sodium).  I also looked back at last year’s values for our green onions and saw some nice improvements. (See http://beyondorganicresearch.com/nutrition-farming-hawaii/ for last year’s garden results.)

It sure is exciting to watch the improvements over time!

Stay tuned for more!

Fantastic Video: Health Professionals who Understand where Health Begins

As a nutritional and horticultural researcher who has worked to bridge an understanding from soil to human health, I am thrilled about the release of this enlightening video. Health truly is about nurturing nature and nature nurturing us. It all starts at the garden or farm, creating “perfect soil” to grow “perfect food” to heal our bodies. Testing soil to know what fertilizers to add and testing plants to understand what they need, as well as testing the final food products to determine what really is and is not there is how we move to better quality food production.

This video is an interesting mix of health professionals who understand that health starts in good soil.  Enjoy, and share it with your friends.

Happy Mother’s Day, even if you are just a “mom” to your plants!

Broccoli 3X Bigger with Beyond Organic Growing System(TM)

Here are some more fantastic results from Susan, who is a student in the Perfect Soil™ Certificate Course.  Remember, from my last blog post, the broccoli at the back of the kale beds?  They have matured, and here are some pictures of the comparison.  Susan says, of herself and her gardening friends, “We are thrilled.”

(Above) Broccoli grown with Beyond Organic Growing System™ (BOGS™) with hands in photo for size comparison.

Broccoli grown with typical organic-type method Susan has used previously (compare to her hand size for perspective)

Susan made every effort to have a good comparison trial, such as planting the seeds from the same seed packet, at the same time, watering the same, etc.  The difference was the fertilization according to a Nutrition Grown™ soil analysis, which is part of the Beyond Organic Growing System™ (BOGS™).  Great work, Susan!

Join with us in growing the best food ever by enrolling in the Perfect Soil™ Course.  Click here for more info.  The course consists of a video series you can watch on your own schedule, a comprehensive Nutrition Grown™ soil analysis, one-on-one support, group calls, and more.

The Nutrition Grown™ soil analysis is much more comprehensive than typical soil tests, including pH, Total Cation Exchange Capacity, Organic Matter %, Base Saturation Percentages including Exchangeable Hydrogen, Sulfur, Phosphorus, Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, Sodium, Boron, Iron, Manganese, Copper, Zinc, Aluminum, and Estimated Nitrogen Release, plus rarely tested, but very important, elements Cobalt, Molybdenum, Selenium, and Silicon, along with electrical conductivity (EC) .  Exact calculations are made, along with balancing ratios between various elements.  Don’t worry if you don’t understand all of these items.  The recommendations will be made clear and easy to implement.  The recommendations are also made in keeping with the USDA’s organic certification guidelines.  The Nutrition Grown™ soil analysis with discussion can also be ordered separately from the course by clicking here.

Good Growing!

Side-by-Side Comparison Trial Kale Beds

One of my students in the Perfect Soil Certificate Course, Susan, recently shared her results of a side-by-side comparison trial of the Beyond Organic Growing System(TM).  The control bed was fertilized/amended as she had done typically in the past with organic-type amendments.  The beds were planted on consecutive days with kale and broccoli starts from the same seed packs.  Every attempt was made to be as consistent as possible in every way except the fertilization method–same sizes of beds, same number of plants, same spacing, same irrigation, same mulch, etc.

Here are the results with the control bed first and the Beyond Organic bed next (as captioned):

Control Bed–typical organic bed of Russian Kale and Broccoli (in background).

The size difference is most noticeable, but also look at the color differences.  Here are some size comparison pictures using Susan’s foot to give some perspective:

VIDEO: Trees are Dying Everywhere, We’re Next

Ten years ago, when I was working on my PhD at Colorado State University, I visited the Rocky Mountain National Park.  Dying trees everywhere! About half of the forest appeared dead.  The question was “Why?”.  It has been blamed on pine bark beetles proliferating due to warmer than usual winters.  My thought at the time, which I shared with a fellow graduate student who was focusing on the problem, was that it may have something to do with the enormous rise in the use of electromagnetic frequencies.

Ohia and other trees are dying here in Hawaii forests.  This is blamed on a fungal disease.  The disease condition is termed “Rapid Ohia Death”.  Could it be more than just a fungus?

The scenario repeats itself around the world, with forests, fruit trees, nut trees, vineyards, and trees in parks.  What has changed in the environment?  We’ve had extremes of weather throughout millennia.  Why can’t the trees cope with this?

This video gives some insight into what has changed:  CLICK HERE for VIDEO

Fortunately, trees given extra TLC (tender loving care) do respond well.  Trees that have the nutrients they need have a much greater coping ability.  Do you have a tree that needs some TLC?  Think about having its soil tested with a comprehensive soil analysis, and giving it the specific types and amounts of nutrients it needs.  You can also help it bounce back quickly with foliar nutrient sprays that are customized for your ailing tree by using a leaf tissue analysis.  Well nourished, healthy trees do not succumb to insects and diseases.

Trees are critical to life as we know it.  Time to make some changes!

Best,  Dr. Jana
