Invitation to Nutrition Farming Presentation at Dragonfly Ranch Dec. 8

Dragonfly Ranch in Honaunau will be hosting a Nutrition Farming for Hawaii presentation by Dr. Jana Bogs this Saturday, December 8.  Dr. Bogs will be explaining why and how growing our food in an optimized way, can double or triple the nutrient content—as well as improve the taste of our vegetables. She will be speaking especially to people who have a passion for the `Aina (Hawaiian for “the land which feeds us”).   This is an educational experience for students, gardeners, farmers, and others who wish to learn about Nutrition Grown™ food production. Questions welcomed!

Nutrition Farming

Nutrition Farming for Hawaii (NFH) is a grant-funded research and demonstration outreach project. It is bringing more nutritious food to our community through an optimized, environmentally-friendly growing system .

Nutrition Farming for Hawaii Research and Demonstration Garden

Nutrition Farming for Hawaii was started by project director, Dr. Bogs, with the aim of conducting research on improving the nutritional qualities, flavor, and yields of food crops starting from the soil up.  The project mission is to improve human health and raise ecological awareness by instituting a paradigm shift in food cultivation practices which produce high yields of delicious, nutritionally-optimal foods.  Dr. Bogs will be presenting her data regarding soil and crops that show large increases in food nutrient content as compared to USDA values.

Barbara Moore, “soul proprietor” of the Dragonfly Ranch, says, “It is an honor to host Jana presenting her power point slide show detailing how we can improve our health by eating nutrient rich food we can grow in our gardens. It is wonderful that Jana has the tools and wants to share with us how to improve the quality of our food we can grow with this knowledge.”

Resources to Help You Grow Better

Dr Bogs offers comprehensive laboratory testing of soil and plant tissue, which provide a detailed interpretation to determine what organic-type fertilizers, beneficial microorganisms, and foliar spray nutrients the soil and plants need.   In turn, these plants produce the most nutrient-rich, health-promoting foods possible.

Author of Beyond Organic: Growing for Maximum Nutrition and Flavor, Dr. Bogs will have her books available to purchase at a discounted rate.  For those who can’t attend, her books are also available on her website,  www.BeyondOrganicResearch.com,

Furthermore, Dr. Bogs teaches an in-depth online course called Perfect Soil. Learn more at https://beyondorganicresearch.com/course/.

As part of the outreach effort, Dr. Bogs will be presenting this slide show for free at the Dragonfly Ranch in Honaunau on December 8th at 6:30 pm.  Come learn more about the project and how you too can grow your own amazing foods!

Nutrition Grown Biophoton Salad –SO Amazing For Your Health

Here’s a Nutrition Grown salad from the garden of Perfect Soil course student, Jennifer Wilson. Jenny wrote, “I am so excited about the nutritionally grown salads I have been able to make from my garden. They are beautiful and I feel energized after eating them.”

Groundbreaking Study:

Beyond the many nutrients raw greens supply to our bodies, a groundbreaking study in the Journal of Cell Science shows that the chlorophyll in greens can be used by mammalian cells to capture light energy from the sun.  In the past, it was thought that this was something only plants could do through the process of photosynthesis.

This article, Light-harvesting chlorophyll pigments enable mammalian mitochondria to capture photonic energy and produce ATP, comes from researchers at the Columbia University Medical Center.  Numerous experiments have been performed showing that chlorophyll metabolites “retain the ability to absorb light in the visible spectrum at wavelengths that can penetrate into animal tissues”.  Mammalian mitochondria utilize this light energy to create ATP (adenosine triphosphate). The researchers have also observed an increase in the lifespan of animals who are generating ATP in this way.

Is it any wonder that we enjoy sunning ourselves?  Have you ever seen animals laying stretched out in the sun and wondered why they were doing that, even when it seemed too hot?  Maybe we are now catching up with the “why”.

Think about a dog or a cat eating grass, especially when they don’t feel well.  They instinctively know the fresh greens can help them.

Biophotons:

Dr. Fritz-Albert Popp, a German biophysics researcher, has been studying biophotons for decades.  Biophotons are light energy emitted from living things.  Dr. Popp’s research has shown that light is emitted from human cells and that this light is used for communication.  Light energy communication is many times faster than chemical reactions, which have been central to the theory of biochemical cellular communications.  It has also been seen that light energy (photons) are necessary to initiate chemical reactions.

“There are about 100,000 chemical reactions happening in every cell each second. The chemical reaction can only happen if the molecule which is reacting is excited by a photon… Once the photon has excited a reaction it returns to the field and is available for more reactions… We are swimming in an ocean of light.”

Raw Foods:

Raw food diets can be powerfully healing.  Why?  Besides many nutrients and phytonutrients, plants also contain biophotons.  Studies show that when a plant or animal dies, light energy is released.  As opposed to cooked foods, eating well grown raw foods, with their undamaged molecules and coherent light energy, can be especially healing.

Dr. Popp came to understand that DNA was the major source of light and biophoton emissions within our cells.  Furthermore, he found that DNA can send out many different frequencies which are instructions for our cells to follow.  This is how our bodies heal.

And Beyond:

The photon emissions go beyond our bodies to influence other beings.  For examples, communications within flocks of birds, schools of fish, and herds of horses may be explained by photon emissions.  As humans, perhaps our resonance, or lack thereof, with each other can also be explained by the coherency of our photon emissions.

So grow your Nutrition Grown™ garden, eat your absolutely fresh greens, and let your Light SHINE.

5G Network is Coming–A Real Danger to our Health and Plant Life

5G promises faster communication speeds, but at what cost to our environment and, subsequently, our health?  Electromagnetic fields (EMFs) are already negatively impacting our health as shown by numerous studies which are ignored by industry.  Now 5G networks being rolled out this year bring even stronger destructive EMFs.

Here’s an article from Natural News with a video from Dr. Gabriel Cousens that further explain what we are faced with.

Dr. Gabriel Cousens warns the world about the toxic effects of 5G wireless (coming soon to your neighborhood)

Image: Dr. Gabriel Cousens warns the world about the toxic effects of 5G wireless (coming soon to your neighborhood)

(Natural NewsDr. Gabriel Cousens calls 5G “a complete, unmitigated health disaster.” But, what exactly is 5G, what dangers does it present and what must each one of us be aware of?

PC Mag explains that the “G” in 3G, 4G etc. refers to a different generation of wireless technology. Each generation is differentiated by a change in encoding methods which make it incompatible with the previous generation. 5G promises faster speed, more responsiveness, and simultaneous connectivity for more devices than previous generations.

PC Mag explains:

So 5G networks need to be much smarter than previous systems, as they’re juggling many more, smaller cells that can change size and shape. But even with existing macro cells, Qualcomm says 5G will be able to boost capacity by four times over current systems by leveraging wider bandwidths and advanced antenna technologies.

The goal is to have far higher speeds available, and far higher capacity per sector, at far lower latency than 4G. The standards bodies involved are aiming at 20Gbps speeds and 1ms latency.

5G will make use of a type of encoding called OFDM, and is likely to rely on a network of cells as small as household routers rather than on huge towers radiating over larger distances.

Dr. Cousens warns that since 5G uses a much shorter wavelength, transmitters will have to be erected every 500 feet. This means that such transmitters will appear in schools, at bus stops, and “all over the place.” Even if you don’t use a cellphone, therefore, 5G technology means you will still be in an EMF zone continually, unable to escape its effects.

5G will be in every major U.S. city by 2020

According to Dr. Cousens, there are plans in place to install 5G in at least 11 cities this year, and in all the major U.S. cities by 2020. Why is this a problem? Well, the disastrous health effects of exposure to even 3G technology have already been documented in over 900 studies. (Related: 5G is already linked to rising health problems … concerns about “health calamity” on the rise.)

Dr. Cousens says that while humans can cope with the effects of EMFs for about three years at most, thereafter serious problems start to arise and we become more susceptible to circulatory, mental, digestive and immune diseases. This type of exposure may be a large contributing factor to the fact that about 40 million people are depressed, 10 million of them acutely (or severely) so. This has resulted in huge numbers of Americans being prescribed toxic antidepressants.

Multiple studies have confirmed a link between EMFs and cancer, diabetes, heart disease, autoimmune disorders and other chronic, debilitating diseases. This is serious, especially when you consider that at least 50 percent of the U.S. adult population now has one chronic debilitating disease, while some have multiple such illnesses.

In addition, Dr. Cousens notes that exposure to EMFs make people just feel bad, out of balance, full of aches and pains. More and more people complain about increased chemical and environmental sensitivities, brain fog and just feeling “off.” (Related: Cell tower radiation confirmed to cause cancer in animals.)

Exposure to 5G comparable to 17 minutes in a microwave

Dr. Cousens warns that experts compare continuous exposure to 5G to being in a microwave oven for 17 minutes on full power. 5G literally cooks your brain and your body.

While there are certainly commercial benefits to 5G technology being installed in U.S. cities, exposure to it means we will be much sicker than the competition. And since sick people don’t perform well at their jobs, ultimately, 5G represents economic disadvantages, too.

So, what can we do about it? Dr. Cousens believes that we need to take thoughtful action, do personal research on 5G, and then get out and speak about it. Our own health and the health of future generations depends on it.

Practical tips from Dr. Jana– Yes, there are steps we can take to minimize effects of EMFs.  First is to minimize exposure by distancing ourselves from sources such as towers and “smart meters”, minimizing cell phone use, using shielding products, hard-wiring our computers (no wi-fi), and eating Nutrition Grown foods to supply us with protective nutrients and phytonutrients.  Particularly helpful is rosemary, which you can grow yourself!

Fantastic Video: Health Professionals who Understand where Health Begins

As a nutritional and horticultural researcher who has worked to bridge an understanding from soil to human health, I am thrilled about the release of this enlightening video. Health truly is about nurturing nature and nature nurturing us. It all starts at the garden or farm, creating “perfect soil” to grow “perfect food” to heal our bodies. Testing soil to know what fertilizers to add and testing plants to understand what they need, as well as testing the final food products to determine what really is and is not there is how we move to better quality food production.

This video is an interesting mix of health professionals who understand that health starts in good soil.  Enjoy, and share it with your friends.

Happy Mother’s Day, even if you are just a “mom” to your plants!

NH365 101: Going beyond organic foods – Growing techniques for maximum nutrition and flavor

Podcast: Play in new window | Download

(NaturalHealth365) Our foods have been under attack by the biotech industry and its chemical products for decades. And, the negative effects are clear for us to see.

Simply put, many of our food crops have dramatically lost their nutritional value … some agricultural experts would say by as much as 70 percent! This, alone, might be the single most important reasons why supplements have been in such demand.

Is there a problem with organic foods?

The blunt truth is ‘yes!’ Even organic foods have lost their nutrient content – which is why so many people tend to struggle with nutritional deficiencies. (even when doing their best to eat well)

Bottom line: we must find ways to get MORE nutrition from our foods to protect our health or pay the unwanted consequences of sickness and premature death.

Today, on the NaturalHealth365 Podcast, I’ll introduce you to someone that has a solution for this problem. You’ll learn about a system of growing plants that can produce nutrient-rich foods to meet our daily needs.

About Dr. Jana Bogs

Dr. Jana Bogs is a research scientist and consultant whose motto is “Creating health from the soil up!” Due to health problems in herself and her family when she was growing up, Dr. Bogs became interested in nutrition and decided to get a university degree in that area while also studying many other aspects of holistic health and nutrition – at the same time.

With a degree under her belt, Dr. Bogs started her career in the field of nutrition working with various holistic-minded doctors. However, after a while, she came to realize that our foods are not the quality they could be or should be – especially when considering nutrient density.

This realization motivated Dr. Bogs to create the “Beyond Organic Growing System” (BOGS) – which is designed to bring nutritious food to the world by helping farmers, gardeners and food companies understand how to produce supreme quality food.
